It’s a long way south in Britain, but Cadair Idris is a proper mountain with similarities in look, feel and vegetation to many hills in the Scottish Highlands. This picture was drawn from a photo taken during botanical survey work (recording a vegetation monitoring baseline, to be precise) with my wife Alison.
