It’s very ordinary in one sense – just field boundaries with some fences, hedges and trees, and a small stone house beyond – but the main tree here, an ash, is a splendid specimen whose branches and twigs form complex patterns against the sky, and there’s something restful about the shape and colour of the house and the positioning of the other trees.
