Just a quick sketch. But a quick sketch can be just a much of an undertaking as a longer, more ‘finished’ piece of work. Every mark and every second counts. It’s a short time but it can be a tense time too. And exciting. You don’t know exactly what will happen next, and whatever does happen, even if it’s something quite small, will probably be significant in the context of this sketch. It’s an exciting but tense mix of opposing forces: spontaneity and control.
