Another picture from the Rahoy Hills nature reserve artist in residency (or, rather, artist in absence) project as described in the text for the picture titled “Oaks in Gleann Dubh, Morvern, Scotland (1)”. This multi-stemmed oak has probably been coppiced in the past. The flatter ground below and to the left of it might be an old charcoal-burning platform.
