Another picture from the Rahoy Hills nature reserve artist in residency (or, rather, artist in absence) project as described in the text for the picture titled “Oaks in Gleann Dubh, Morvern, Scotland (1)”. In this view at the upper edge of the woodland above Loch Arienas we look diagonally upslope from beneath an oak tree (with green mosses and grey lichens on its branches, at the top of the picture), across open brackeny ground to patches of birch.
