One of a series of drawings done to illustrate A Morvern Nature Diary by Stephen Hardy (Morvern Heritage Society, 2013; ISBN 9780956589330). This one is based on one of Steve’s photos. With drawings of trees I try to convey a feel of big scale when the subjects are big specimens like this one. It’s an interesting challenge when you’re trying to convey “big” on a small piece of paper!
