
Rejuvenation in this context means cleaning out the insides of well-used barrels so that they can continue to be used for more years than would have been the case if they hadn’t been cleaned out. Gives them a new lease of life. That’s interesting, because when people try to ‘rejuvenate’ themselves they usually concentrate on the outside more than the inside and they often add more stuff than they clean out.
