
An amazing old castle on the East Lothian coast, seen here from the east-south-east. As with Edinburgh and Stirling castles I like the way the building looks like an upward continuation of the rock on which it was built, as though it’s all one big structure. There’s a bit of a summery haze in this view of the castle.
