Another one of my random-ish Google Street View locations. Just another road, lamppost and housing scheme. That’s OK. Doesn’t have to be really ‘special’ in some way to be worth drawing. Or perhaps it’s a bit more special than we might initially give it credit for. Perhaps everywhere is, or can be if we give it the opportunity. See here for example – there’s actually a pretty interesting mix of angles, shapes and ups and downs in that housing scheme, and the lamppost cuts a bold line up into the sky, helping to define and give scale to all that space. And likewise for so many other housing schemes and lampposts – check them out!
